Dylan McCutheon Killed in Oildale Motorcycle Crash on McCray Street

Oildale, Calif. – The motorcyclist who was killed in a collision in Oildale on Thursday night has been identified as Dylan Ray McCutheon, 24, of , according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.

The wreck took place on McCray Street and Merle Haggard Drive at around 8:20 p.m. January 4.

The California Highway Patrol said McCutheon was riding a motorcycle northbound on McCray Street when he failed to stop for a red light and crashed into a Dodge driven by a 28-year-old man.

McCutheon was ejected from the motorcycle by the impact of the crash.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Dodge also crashed into a light pole and the driver was taken to a hospital with major injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
