Chico, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 99 in Chico Tuesday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the wreck at around 4:27 p.m. on Highway 99 near Estates Drive.
The police said traffic was stopped at a red light then one vehicle failed to stop in time and ran into the other vehicles which caused a chain reaction.
One person sustained injuries and was transported to Enloe for precautionary purposes.
The wreck impacted the highway for several hours.
