One person was hospitalized after two cars collided on Byrnes Road near Hawkins Road in Vacaville
Vacaville, Calif. – One person was hospitalized with major injuries after a Tuesday morning in Vacaville.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:51 a.m. on Byrnes Road near Hawkins Road.
Two vehicles were recovered at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
The impact of the collision sent one of the cars off the roadway and into a ditch
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
