2 Killed in Daly City Crash on 280 Freeway near John Daly Boulevard

, California – Two men were killed in a car crash that happened early Monday morning in Daly City.

The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Interstate near John Daly Boulevard at around 2:42 a.m.

A 53-year-old man was driving a Toyota Corolla northbound in the southbound lanes when he hit a Toyota Previa minivan driven by a 33-year-old man.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second man was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
