Another semi moved into the path of oncoming traffic to pass the stopped semi but collided head-on with a northbound passenger car with four occupants

Blewett Pass, Wash. – Rhodora A. Megia, 64, of Tukwila, was one of four people injured in a big rig collision on the Blewett Pass Monday afternoon, a report by the Washington State Patrol said.
A semi-truck and a passenger car were involved in the wreck that took place at about 1:45 p.m. January 8, on Highway 97.
The Washington State Patrol said a semi-truck heading south on the highway jackknifed under unclear circumstances and came to a rest blocking lanes on Highway 97.
Another semi moved into the path of oncoming traffic to pass the stopped semi but collided head-on with a northbound passenger car with four occupants.
One of the occupants of the car, identified as Megia, was transported to Confluence Health Hospital Central Campus in Wenatchee for treatment.
The other three occupants were also taken to Confluence Health.
The Washington State Patrol is handling the investigation.
