Highland, Calif. – A 71-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on San Manuel Boulevard in Highland on December 28, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
On Thursday, December 28, 2023, at approximately 1:20 p.m., deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department (SBCSD) responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at a parking structure at 777 San Manuel Boulevard.
According to the SBCSD, the pedestrian, identified as Vidalia Munoz, 77, of Los Angeles, was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Munoz was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
