A man was driving a Chevy Silverado westbound on Millerton when he crossed over into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Toyota Tundra

Fresno, Calif. – A 78-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision that left another person injured on Saturday afternoon near Friant in Fresno.
The fatal collision happened on Millerton Road and Marina Drive at around 2:23 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 35-year-old man was driving a 2016 blue Chevy Silverado westbound on Millerton when he crossed over into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a white Toyota Tundra.
The 78-year-old man driving the Toyota Tundra was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Chevy was hospitalized with major injuries.
Officers say alcohol was a factor in the crash and are investigating the driver of the Chevy for DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
