One person was hospitalized after being injured in a traffic collision on Highway 50 near the 5 Freeway in Sacramento
Sacramento, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Sacramento on Sunday evening.
The accident happened on Highway 50 near the 5 Freeway connector at around 4:55 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three vehicles were recovered at the accident scene, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was taken to Sutter Health for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
