One person was hospitalized after being injured in a multi-car accident on Highway 9 near Big Basin Way in San Jose
San Jose, Calif. – At least one person was injured in a car accident that occurred in San Jose on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 9 near Big Basin Way at around 3:55 p.m.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered three vehicles at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident, however, were yet to be established.
One person suffered moderate injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
