Merced County, Calif. – A man was seriously injured after being struck by a speeding motorcycle in Le Grand last week Wednesday.
The accident happened on a sidewalk on Washington Avenue, according to a local news source.
Jose Jesus Vera was blowing leaves at his brother's house and was standing on a sidewalk when he was struck by one of two speeding motorcycles.
The man suffered major injuries including a fractured eye socket, a broken cheek, and a dislocated jaw, and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The motorcycles did not stop at the scene ad were yet to be located.
