Carlsbad, Calif. – Jose Lozano of Richmond, was among two people killed in a collision in Carlsbad on Saturday morning, according to the authorities.
The crash took place on Interstate 5 near San Diego on Saturday, January 13.
Lozano and his wife, Luz Duran Rios, also of Richmond, were headed to the Tijuana airport when they were involved in a three-vehicle collision.
They were both killed in the crash.
One of the drivers, a 28-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
The crash is under investigation.
