Carlsbad, Calif. – Luz Duran Rios, of Richmond, has been identified as one of the two people killed in a collision in Carlsbad Saturday morning.
According to the authorities, crash happened on Interstate 5 near San Diego on Saturday, January 13.
The report said that Duran Rios and her husband, Jose Lozano, of Richmond, were traveling to the Tijuana airport when they got into a three-vehicle collision.
The two were killed in the crash.
One of the motorists, a 28-year-old woman, was placed under arrest on suspicion of drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
