Karen Roseberry Killed in Palmdale Crash at Highway 138 and East Avenue T

County, Calif. – The Department of Medical Examiner has identified the woman who was killed in a crash with a semi-truck late Friday night in as 46-year-old Karen Roseberry, of Palmdale.

Rasberry was the driver of a red Kia Sportage that reportedly sideswiped the front bumper of a big rig at Highway 138 and East Avenue T at about 11:36 p.m. on January 12.

Roseberry was pronounced at the scene.

Los Angeles, Calif. – One person was killed in a car accident on Friday night in Palmdale.

The collision happened around 11:36 p.m. at Highway 138 and East Avenue T, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department.

A red Kia Sportage reportedly sideswiped the front bumper of a semi-truck that was making a westbound turn from SR 138 onto Pearblossom Highway.

The impact of the collision caused the Kia to crash into a black GMC Terrain traveling northbound on Fort Tejon Road.

The driver of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene.

One other person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
