Snohomish County, Wash. – A 45-year-old Seattle woman died after being struck by a car in Mountlake Terrace early Monday morning.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened on northbound Interstate 5 just south of 44th Ave W a few minutes after midnight, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Woldemariam was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The 31-year-old woman from Granite Falls driving the vehicle was injured in the accident and was transported to Swedish Hospital in Edmonds.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
