Two vehicles involving a semi-truck collided head-on on Highway 27 at County Road 94 in Woodland
Woodland, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a deadly head-on collision on State Route 27 in Woodland Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision happened at around 10:48 a.m. on Highway 27 at County Road 94.
A semi-truck collided head-on with a white pickup truck for reasons not yet established.
The police said at least one person sustained fatal injuries in the wreck.
The identity of the deceased was released pending notification of the next of kin.
More details regarding the wreck were not provided.
The cause of the mishap is being investigated.
