One person was taken to a local hospital by a Petaluma Fire Department ambulance

Petaluma, Calif. – One person was injured in a suspected DUI car crash that occurred on Wednesday night in Petaluma.
At around 9:28 p.m., the California Highway Patrol dispatch was notified of a collision at Frates Road and Lakeville Highway.
Petaluma police responded to the incident and found two cars in the middle of the intersection. However, how the accident happened was not immediately determined.
One person was injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital by a Petaluma Fire Department ambulance.
The driver of one of the cars, 63-year-old Phillip Chaney of Bellevue, displayed signs of intoxication and is being investigated for DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
