The MCSO said two vehicles collided head-on in the area of Hunt Highway and McQueen Road

Chandler, Ariz.- Two people were killed in a traffic collision on Thursday night south of Chandler, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
The incident took place near Hunt Highway and McQueen Road just after 10 p.m. January 18.
The MCSO said two vehicles collided head-on in the area.
Two people were pronounced deceased at the scene.
One other party was transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
According to the report, alcohol and speed is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
