One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision at Geer Road and Keyes Road in Modesto

Modesto, Calif. – One person was killed in a car accident that happened on Thursday night in Modesto.
The fatal crash occurred around 9:04 p.m. in the area of Geer Road and Keyes Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were recovered at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
CHP says one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
