One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision at Vasco Road and Camino Diablo in Byron
Contra Costa, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday morning near Byron in Contra Costa County.
The accident happened around 5:52 a.m. in the area of Vasco Road and Camino Diablo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A BMW and a Mercedes are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
CHP reports that one person suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
