Authorities said a truck was attempting to make a left turn into Indian School Road when it collided with a bicyclist in the crosswalk

Phoenix, Ariz. – A woman sustained major injuries when she was hit by a vehicle in Phoenix on Friday night, according to the authorities.
The accident happened at about 9 p.m. January 19, on 51st Street and Indian School Road.
Authorities said a truck was attempting to make a left turn into Indian School Road when it collided with a bicyclist in the crosswalk.
The woman riding the bicycle was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It's unclear what led up to the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
