Los Angeles, Calif. – A man died after being struck by a car earlier this month in Pacoima.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened on San Fernando Road near Montague Street, on January 12.
Francisco Garcia, believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, was crossing the street and was hit by a white pickup truck in the northbound lanes.
The pedestrian tried to get up and was struck by a second vehicle, tossing him into the southbound lanes where he was hit by another car.
Garcia was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
