A man suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
San Diego, Calif. – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision last week Sunday in San Diego.
The accident happened around 3:38 a.m. on Interstate 15 Freeway near Mira Mesa Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Jeep Gladiator crashed into two other vehicles on the freeway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision sent the Jeep up an embankment before it rolled back down. The Jeep then hit and severed a freeway light pole before rolling several times.

CHP suspects DUI was a factor in the collision.
