Phoenix, Ariz. – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a light rail near Thomas Road in Phoenix Saturday evening, according to a police report.
The incident happened at around 7 p.m. on January 21 near Thomas Road and Central Avenue.
Reportedly, a light rail hit a pedestrian in the location in unclear circumstances.
The victim sustained severe injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
The northbound lanes of the roadway was restricted.
