Two cars collided at the intersection for an unknown reason, blocking some traffic lanes

One Person Injured in Car Collision at Sixth and California Streets in Rodeo

County, Calif. – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Rodeo, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident was reported just before 4 p.m. at the 1357 block of Sixth Street at California Street.

Contra Costa County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and found a white Honda Accord with rear-end damage and a black Honda Civic involved in the crash.

One of the cars was reportedly occupied by juveniles.

At least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
