
Fontana, Calif. – At least one person was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Fontana Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 2:05 p.m. January 22 in the area of Cherry and Whittram Avenues.
According to the CHP, a total of four vehicles were involved in the collision. The involved vehicles were described as a black Chevrolet pickup, a white Chevy, a Ford sedan, and a Lincoln SUV.
Authorities say at least one person sustained major injuries in the crash. One patient identified as George Alberto Lopez was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
