Stockton, Calif. – A 14-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Monday morning in Stockton, authorities said.
The Stockton Police Department said the accident was reported around 8 a.m. near East French Camp Road.
The teen was hit under unclear circumstances. The victim died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Investigators said the driver involved fled the scene after the accident. No description was given about the suspect driver or vehicle.
An investigation is ongoing.
