Police said a 33-year-old Centralia man was speeding northbound on Harrison Avenue in a Honda Civic when he tried to pass a semi-truck in a no-passing zone and collided head-on with an oncoming black Toyota truck

Centralia, Wash. – A woman was killed in a crash that took place in Centralia on Wednesday morning, according to the police.
The wreck took place on Harrison Avenue near Russell Road at about 9:30 a.m. January 24.
Police said a 33-year-old Centralia man was speeding northbound on Harrison Avenue in a Honda Civic when he tried to pass a semi-truck in a no-passing zone and collided head-on with an oncoming black Toyota truck.
The elderly woman driving the Toyota was pronounced deceased at a hospital.
A Mitsubishi Eclipse also rear-ended the Toyota.
The driver of the Honda was hospitalised with a cut to his head.
The Honda was reportedly stolen in Chehalis, authorities said. The driver is expected to face vehicular homicide charges, authorities said.
The crash is under investigation.
