Apache Junction, Ariz. – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car near Apache Junction in Maricopa County on Wednesday.
The accident happened on Apache Trail near Tomahawk Road, according to the Apache Junction Police Department.
A bicyclist was reportedly struck by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The cyclist was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately released.
