Cyclist Critically Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash on Clybourn Avenue near Oxnard Street in Burbank

, Calif. – A bicycle rider was seriously injured in a Hit-and-Run accident on Clybourn Avenue in Burbank a week ago.

The Burbank Police Department responded to the wreck at around 7:20 on January 16 a.m. on Clybourn Avenue near Street.

A 23-year-old Alexander Saenz of Sherman Oaks hit a bicycle in the area and fled the scene before officers arrived.

The bicyclist was hospitalized in critical condition.

Saenz was located yesterday in the 100 block of South First Street, where he was interviewed and admitted to be the driver of the hit-and-run collision.

Saenz was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.

Additional information about the wreck was not provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
