Lancaster, Calif. – One person was killed in a big rig collision on Friday night, according to the authorities.
The crash took place on Sierra Highway and Avenue G at about 8:14 p.m. January 26.
Authorities said a truck and a Walmart semi-truck were involved.
Firefighters extricated the driver of the truck, who was trapped after the collision.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It's unclear whether there were other injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
