Deputy Clanin Tim Injured in Spokane Valley Crash on Broadway

Spokane, Wash. – A deputy with the Spokane Valley Police Department, was injured when a suspected drunk driver slammed into a patrol car in Spokane on Wednesday night.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened at around 9:35 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Broadway.

The Spokane County Sheriff's Department had responded to a hit-and-run accident that left a woman injured at around 9:35 p.m.

A short time later, Raymond Jones was driving a Saturn Vue eastbound on Raymond when he crashed into a patrol car at the scene.

Deputy Clanin Tim and Jones were taken to hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

Jones was arrested for driving under the influence.

More details about the accident were not provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
