The driver of the second car and another passenger were taken to Flagstaff Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Flagstaff, Ariz. – A 13-year-old boy was killed and two other people were injured in a collision on Thursday morning in Flagstaff.
The collision happened shortly before noon on Interstate 17 near Munds Park, according to the authorities.
DPS said a sedan was traveling southbound on Arizona Veterans Freeway when the driver lost control of the car because of too much water and collided with a second vehicle.
The sedan crashed into the left side of the second car.
A 13-year-old boy in the second car was killed in the crash.

The sedan driver was not injured, DPS said.
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
