Mesa, Ariz. – One person was killed and several others were injured in a rollover crash at an intersection in Mesa Monday morning.
According to the Mesa Police Department, the collision happened at around 6 a.m. at Stapley Drive and Brown Road.
Reportedly, a pickup truck collided with an SUV in unclear circumstances causing the to overturn.
Several people were hospitalized with injuries, including a driver who was listed to be in critical condition. The motorist was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
Both directions of the intersection were shut down for several hours during the on-scene investigation.
