2 Injured in Traffic Collision on Highway 4 in Stockton

, Calif. – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Stockton, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident took place at about 3:54 p.m. on eastbound Highway 4, just west of the Wilson Way off-ramp.

A white , a red pickup , and a third car were involved in the collision.

One person sustained lacerations, and another suffered an eye injury.

Stockton firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped the patients.

Authorities did not mention the possible factors that may have contributed to the collision.

An investigation is ongoing.
