California Highway Patrol says one person sustained serious injuries in a collision at Firebaugh Boulevard and Road 16 in Madera
Madera, Calif. – At least one person suffered major injuries in a fiery car crash near Madera on Tuesday morning.
The accident was reported around 6:46 a.m. near Firebaugh Boulevard and Road 16, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A van and a sedan were involved in the morning collision. One of the cars reportedly caught fire after the collision.
One person suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
