CHP says one person was injured in a collision involving two cars on Highway 4 near Franklin Canyon Road
Contra Costa, Calif. – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening in Martinez.
At around 4:26 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a collision on eastbound Highway 4 near Franklin Canyon Road.
Two cars were involved in the accident. Although the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established, the impact of the collision reportedly caused one of the cars to overturn.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
