Contra Costa, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 24 in Contra Costa Tuesday late night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at around 11:21 p.m. on the eastbound State Route 24 just east of Acalanes Road.
A white Tesla Model Y collided and a second vehicle were involved in the wreck. However, the manner in which they collided was not immediately examined.
One person suffered serious injuries and was transported to John Muir Hospital for treatment.
No more information about the accident was provided.
