Yucca Valley, Calif. – Authorities have released the identity of the teenager killed in Hit-and-Run accident on Highway 62 in Yucca Valley Friday evening.
Joshua Alexander Berreras, 16, of Yucca Valley was involved in a deadly crash that occurred on Twentynine Palms Highway near Avalon Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. on January 26.
The suspect has not yet been located.

Yucca Valley, Calif. – A boy died after being hit by a car on Friday evening in Yucca Valley, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies responded to the incident and found a teenage boy lying unresponsive near the center median on SR-62 (Twentynine Palms Highway) near Avalon Avenue.
The unidentified boy was transported to Hi-Desert Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
The involved driver was not located at the scene and was yet to be apprehended.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
