Sondanaa was hospitalized at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with minor injuries

Benton County, Ore. – Authorities have identified 36-year-old Edwin Sondenaa as driver injured in a crash on Highway 20 in Corvallis Wednesday afternoon.
Sondenaa was involved in a crash that happened at around 3:40 p.m. on January 31 on Highway 20 at Highway 180.
Sondanaa was hospitalized at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with minor injuries.
Benton County, Ore. – The Benton County Sheriff's Office identified the truck driver who died Wednesday in a crash involving a log truck as 61-year-old Michael Ronald Fetch.
The Hubbard man was involved in the collision around 3:40 p.m. on Highway 20 at Highway 180.
Sheriff's deputies said Fetch was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck when he stopped on Highway 180, waiting to turn east on Highway 20.
Fetch then pulled out in front of a westbound unloaded log truck.
The log truck driver could not slow down on time and hit the pickup truck.
Fetch died at the scene.
The log truck driver was hospitalized at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with minor injuries.
Investigators said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident.

Corvallis, Ore. – A 61-year-old Hubbard man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 20 in Corvallis on Wednesday.
According to the Benton Police Department, the wreck happened on State Route 20 near Blodgett.
Reportedly, a Ford F150 pickup was stopped on Highway 180 waiting to turn eastbound onto Highway 20.
The driver of the pickup pulled out in front of an unloaded log truck, traveling westbound on Highway 20, the driver of the log truck tried to avoid the collision with the Ford but was unable to.
Hubbard man was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The other driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The name the deceased and the injured victim were not immediately established.
No additional information about the wreck was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
