Eloy, Ariz.- Several people were injured in a crash in Eloy in Pinal County on Friday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The wreck happened on Interstate 10 at milepost 217.
The DPS said four vehicles were involved in the collision on the eastbound lanes of I-10.
Several parties were hurt in the incident and were taken to hospitals.
Two of the patients were flown from the scene.
Heavy rain is believed to have played a role in the collision, the DPS said.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
