A Nissan Rogue attempted to make a left turn onto 6th Street from Hermosa Avenue and collided with a Mercedes CLS 550 at the intersection

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – The San Bernadino County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the passenger who was killed in a two-vehicle traffic collision on January at an intersection in Rancho Cucamonga as 34-year-old Brenda Kimberly Jimenez.
Brenda Jimenez was a passenger in a Nissan Rouge operated by a 57-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man. The Nissan collided with a Mercedes CLS at the intersection of Hermosa Avenue and 6th Street.
Jimenez was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people, including both drivers, were injured in the crash.

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – A woman is dead and three other people injured following a traffic collision involving two vehicles at an Intersection in Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday evening, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Th deadly accident occurred at about 5:25 p.m. On January 31, in the area of Hermosa Avenue and 6th Street.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 37-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man was driving a black Nissan Rogue southbound on Hermosa Avenue. At the same time, a 57-year-old Rancho Cucamonga woman was driving a black Mercedes CLS 550 northbound on Hermosa Avenue approaching the 6th Street intersection.
The Nissan attempted to make a left turn onto 6th Street and the two vehicles collided. The impact caused the Nissan to slam into a traffic signal pole at the intersection's northeast corner.
A female passenger in the Nissan sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers and another passenger in the Nissan were taken to Pomona Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
