Reportedly, a black SUV collided with another car on the highway in unclear circumstances causing the second vehicle to overturn

Monterey, Calif. – At least one person sustains fatal injuries after a car rolled over following a crash on Highway 17 in Monterey Sunday evening.
According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at around 2:42 p.m. on State Route 17 near Las Palmas Parkway.
Reportedly, a black SUV collided with another car on the highway in unclear circumstances causing the second vehicle to overturn.
At least one person was killed in the wreck.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the wreck were not provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
