Justin Allen was crossing the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances
Lake Elsinore, Calif. – 39-year-old Justin Allen of Lake Elsinore was fatally hit by a vehicle on Mission Trail in Lake Elsinore late Saturday night.
According to the CHP, the deadly auto-pedestrian crash happened at around 11:59 p.m. on Mission Trail, 500 feet south of Hidden Trail.
Allen was crossing the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
Allen was declared deceased at the crash site despite life-saving measures.
The unidentified driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the wreck.
An investigation is ongoing.
