A motorcycle and a car collided Wednesday morning in the westbound lanes
Sacramento, Calif. – Minor injuries were sustained in a motorcycle accident that happened Wednesday morning on a freeway in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 7:33 a.m. on the westbound 80 Freeway, just east of the Madison Avenue off-ramp.
Responding Sacramento firefighters found a red motorcycle down in the No. 1 lane after it collided with a white 4-door sedan.
The report said at least one person sustained minor injuries. It was not clear if the patient was hospitalized.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
