Arnold Creek, Ore. – A scooter rider was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon near an intersection in Arnold Creek.
According to a police report, the collision happened at around 1:47 p.m. near Southwest Boones Ferry Road and Southwest 19th Avenue.

The car's driver suffered no injuries and remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The rider was transported to the hospital by an ambulance for treatment.
During the investigation, Southwest Boones Ferry Road is closed between Southwest 18th Avenue and Southwest Orchard Hill Road.
Traffic is also affected at the intersection of Southwest Boones Ferry Road, Southwest 19th Avenue, Southwest Clara Lane, and Southwest Englewood Drive.
