West Valley, Ariz. – A driver was seriously injured in a crash involving two semi-trucks on Highway 60 in West Valley Friday morning.
According to the Arizona Police Department, the incident happened at around 10:15 a.m. on State Route 60 and Grand Avenue.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said two big rigs and possibly a third vehicle were involved in the collision. The manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
One of the drivers was seriously injured.
It was not clear whether other people involved suffered injuries.
Due to the wreck, the eastbound lanes were closed near 163rd Avenue, just west of Loop 303.
More information about the crash was not provided.
