Minor Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Accident on I-215 in Riverside

, Calif. – At least one person sustained minor injuries in a multi-vehicle accident that happened late Sunday morning in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol said.

The pileup was reported around 11:55 a.m. on the northbound near Martin Luther King Boulevard.

A white Honda Civic, a blue 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, and a third car were involved in the collision.

The Honda was reportedly speeding before the collision.

Riverside firefighters and paramedics responded and helped at least one person who sustained minor injuries.

Camping gear belonging to one of the involved parties was scattered all over the roadway.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
