Adelanto, Calif. – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Sunday night, according to the authorities.
The collision occurred near the High Desert Truck Stop on US-395 at about 9:22 p.m. February 11.
A male pedestrian wearing dark clothing was reportedly walking across the highway when he was hit by a 2016 GMC Terrain SUV.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The male driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
