The Oregon State Police said the collision was reported on January 23 on Highway 97 near Chemult.
Burkett suffered critical injuries and was hospitalized at St. Charles Bend.

Bend, Ore. – A woman was critically injured in a head-on collision on Highway 97 in Bend last month.
According to a local source, the collision happened on January 23 on Highway 97 near Chemult.
The Oregon State Police said the woman hit a patch of black ice early that day and lost control of her pickup truck, which crossed the center line collided head-on with a semi-truck.
The woman suffered critical injuries and was transported to St. Charles Bend.
