Montebello, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian accident on Pomona Freeway in Montebello early Monday morning.
According to the authorities, the wreck happened at around 12:40 a.m. on Pomona Freeway at Paramount Boulevard.
A preliminary report indicated that a white SUV overturned prior to the reports of a person hit by at least one vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
